Painting My Story

A Florida native, Brianna was born and raised in Fort Pierce. After moving to Miami to pursue her Master’s in Interior Architecture, she was enveloped in a culturally and artistically diverse atmosphere. Through the course of her journey at Florida International University she has been exposed to new passions for the arts.

Having a deep connection to all mediums of artistic expression, Brianna enjoys drawing and photography. She believes art is a powerful instrument of communication that embodies creativity and the conveyance of emotion. With a background in paralegal studies, Brianna induces her skills of analytics and practicality to create unique and functional spaces. Given her interests in environmental psychology and the arts, Brianna is determined to integrate her dynamic conceptual thought process in future designs.

Currently seeking her Master's in Interior Architecture, Brianna is looking forward to entering her final year of Graduate

School where she will develop her thesis project. The typology she chose to explore is a homeless shelter and community center.

MASTER'S THESIS PROJECT

To formulate a better understanding of the typology I selected and able me to  produce design guidelines that are supported by evidence based design. This thesis project will serve to develop a well rounded and thorough analysis of a homeless shelter and community center.

G5 - HEALTHCARE

At this upscale modern space, I created a soft, romantic environment where all guests feel warm and invited. The wonderful mix of lines and curves is now layered into this space’s architecture and furnishings. The result is a place of balance and beauty, in harmony with its surroundings. G4 - SUPER YACHT

Designing a custom high-end luxury yacht for the Italian company SanLorenzo. The objective of this project was to select a product designer and produce an elegant interior that reinforces the SanLorenzo methodologies.

G3 - RETAIL

During the course of this semester, students were encouraged to design and create their own retail space that would heighten the experience for cruise ship guests.

G3 - CRUISE SHIP

With the task of designing an innovative luxury suite room for Celerity Cruises, Brianna developed the concept of "Reinventing the Disco" to target the brand's primary clientele while maintaining flexibility and functionality.

ACADEMIC SPACE MANAGEMENT PROJECTS

Working part-time as a Graduate Assistant, Brianna has been able to develop design proposals for Florida International University. Having the opportunity to work alongside established professionals has given Brianna further insight into the field of interior design.

RESIDENTIAL

Having the opportunity to design an artist gallery and residential space, Computer Applications II  allowed Brianna to gain a better understanding of 3D Modeling using Revit 2017.

The overall objective of CLIF Bar & Company emerging to the Miami scene is to create a catalyst for the apparent marginal gap in their existing clientele base. To propagate innovation and a fresh approach to marketing strategies with the use of social media facets and community outreach programs, CLIF Bar will #FeedYourAdventure here in South Florida.

G1 - HOSPITALITY

Generator Hostel blends the boundaries between foreigners and the cities' natives acting as a social imprint on a geographical scale. The concept of fluidity will be expressed as an interplay on light and circulation. The essence of pattern will inform the space to reinforce a progressive experience. Furniture and architectural elements act as an imprint, interrupting space to create a social environment.

D4 - MANDARA SPA

Founded in Bali, Indonesia in 1995 Mandara Spa offers guests a holistic approach to healing by embracing spiritual traditions and new trends. The integration of nature ascends the perception of spiritual healing through Bayesian practices. The exploration of decompression is visually represented through surface manipulation and lighting.
